Corrections

Corrections policy.

If we get something wrong, we want to know, and we fix it in the open.

Report an error

If something on Exact Peptide is wrong — a misstated study finding, a broken citation, an outdated regulator position, or a calculation that behaves incorrectly — tell us through the contact page and include the page address so we can find it quickly.

What happens next

We check the claim against the original source. If the correction is confirmed, we fix the page, note that it changed, and update its review date. If the source does not support a change, we explain why in our reply.

How corrections appear

Corrections are made in the page itself rather than in a hidden revision. Substantive changes to a guide are reflected in the last-reviewed date shown on that page, so readers can tell when a page was last checked against its sources.

What we will not do

We will not quietly remove a finding because it is inconvenient, and we will not replace a source with a weaker one to support a conclusion. If a claim cannot be sourced, it comes out.
